Zoo

Elegant,

Beautiful,

Quite,

Majestic,

That’s what I see.

Floating leafs,

Reflections of trees,

Swimming fish,

This picture kind of looks Japanese.

Floating,

Twirling,

Moving, through the water

Some spots cold,

And some spots hotter

Trying to escape

From the brick walls that enclose him,

Trying to get away

From the people that stare at him,

But just can’t quite out swim

The zoo life that captured him

Hands

Hands drawing hands,

They look so real

Almost as if I could feel each individual vain,

Now that I think about it

It brings pain to my brain,

So Confusing,

So technical,

Yet, so simple

I might be able to draw it,

But then again it would bring pain to my brain.

To and Fro

Walking around and around

They think they’re going up and down.

To and fro they go,

Passing each other but do not know.

Maybe one will see,

The stairs are as flat as can be

Maybe he will stop and warn the others

Tell them of the trick that has been played on him and his brothers

Maybe they will flee

Run away and all be free

But we will never know,

As long as they keep walking to and fro.

        So far this I think this class is da bomb! It’s really fun because everybody in the class is really relaxed.

        I have learned some things so far this year but most of it has been review for me. I’m sure I will learn alot this year and hopefully I become a much better writer.

        My favorite part of this class so far has to be the stalking homework, because I think it is a fun and creative way to get kids to write. Umm well what i need to work on is irregular verbs, I can never identify them.

My goals for this year are to be an awesome writer. I want to get better at writing poems and regular stories. I also want to keep my grades up to above an B all year! Those are my goals and i am going to achive them.
